The most prominent feature is the neck-through-body construction, where the super-stable, graphite-reinforced, nine-piece neck has been hewn from a combo of bubinga, panga panga, and maple wood, before being sandwiched between the maple wings and two-ply bubinga of the body. This superior resonant foundation has been given the full support of the adjustable string spacing offered by the MR6S bridge.

The Ibanez BTB1836: Tight Playability & Clean Vibrational Transfer
The remarkably comfy BTB6 neck has been finished with a fast and fluid, flat fretboard made from exotic panga panga and fitted with 24 medium frets. The complex yet seamless construction and wood combo lay down a superbly tight and sustain-rich foundation sound that emits clarity across the entire frequency range. Both Aguilar DCB double-coil pickups are equipped with ceramic pole magnets to ensure full and clear vibrational transfer to the built-in active Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp that can be tweaked to boost or cut the bass, mid (with three-frequency selection), and treble to taste.
