In terms of sounds and playability, Nord Electro’s 6D stage keyboard has gone up a notch compared to its predecessor. The Electro series keyboards are all about accurately emulating electro mechanical and acoustic instruments. This 61-note version of the 6D features a Fatar keybed with semi-weighted waterfall keys, and nine physical drawbars for that genuine organ playing experience.

New features
The Seamless Transition feature makes it possible to flawlessly switch between the piano, sample synth and organ sections while playing and you can use the split and layer functions to use more than one sound at a time or combine them. The new interface makes it easy to control the 6D’s features and the handy Organize mode allows you to quickly arrange programs in any order you desire. The piano section’s voice polyphony has been extended and there are more filters too. The sample synth section also has an extended voice polyphony and more memory and the organ section has two additional pipe organ sounds and a Dual Organ mode.

Keyboards in the Electro series are built to perform and each top-quality sound can be quickly and easily adjusted according to your preferences thanks to clearly divided controls for either piano, organ or synth sounds. It’s even possible to replace certain sounds via the USB connector and your computer. Various audio, MIDI and pedal inputs and outputs give the 6D even more possibilities.
