The HP 2 Tremolo: Stunning Slabs of Tonewood
A basswood body topped with arched maple forms the core of the Peavey HP 2. As such, the build not only results in a flexible foundation sound, but offers your right hand comfortable positioning. Both the neck and headstock are made of the same slab of birds eye maple – where the custom C-profile neck boasts an oil finish for a fast feel – and Peavey have gone with staggered Schaller-made machine heads and a tilt-back headstock for optimal string guidance through the nut.

Eight Tonal Profiles and a Floyd Rose Tremolo
The Peavey HP 2 comes armed with two direct-mount custom humbuckers, a push/pull coil tap and a 3-way Switchcraft pickup switch for no less than eight different sound profiles. At the same time, compulsive playability is offered by the combination of a modern, flat 15″ fretboard radius and 22 jumbo frets, while the Peavey-licensed Floyd Rose® double locking tremolo takes care of unshakable tuning stability and allows players to show off their vibrato-based frolics.
