Yamaha LL26 ARE acoustic western guitar

Original price was: €4,580.Current price is: €3,580.

This Yamaha LL26 ARE is a tasteful instrument that will steal the heart of any traditional guitarist. Equipped with open tuners and featuring a classic look, this western guitar is rock-solid. Its original jumbo-sized body is the largest of the three LL26 models. It features a solid top of Engelmann spruce, known amongst guitar craftsmen as “tone wood” for its excellent sound qualities. Engelmann spruce is also known for its beautiful wood grain and its loud sound projection, which is why it is used in most exclusive models, such as this one.

Yamaha LL26 ARE: neck, fretboard and bracing
This Yamaha guitar isn’t lacking in luxurious embellishments. The five-piece mahogany/rosewood neck features an ebony fretboard with beautiful wood grain and the characteristic black colour. An ebony fretboard offers a snappier response and feels comfortable and smooth, compared with rougher rosewood. The string action and distance have been optimised to make this guitar as comfortable as possible for modern musicians. Additionally, the interior of the body features improved bracing which works to boost the bass without drowning out the trebles.

LL26 ARE: Acoustic Resonance Enhancement
Through the years, Yamaha has built up a lot of experience when it comes to wood types and sound characteristics. At Yamaha, they also know what they’re doing with technology, and we can reap the rewards of their Acoustic Resonance Enhancement invention. This process was applied to the Engelmann top of the LL26, and through the careful adjustment of air pressure, moisture and temperature, the molecular makeup of the wood was actually altered. The result is a full, rich sound like that of vintage guitars, whose wood has had years to settle and mature. You save all that time with the Yamaha LL26, which comes out of the box sounding perfect.
