Yamaha Tour Custom TMP2F4 Caramel Satin 4-piece shell set

This 4-piece Yamaha Tour Custom set is suitable for just about any musical genre, but is particularly suitable for rock and fusion. Yamaha’s Tour Custom series offers top-quality sound and comes in a Caramel Satin finish.

Yamaha Tour Custom shells
This set consists of a 22 x 16-inch bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8-inch toms and a 16 x 15-inch floor tom. The shells in Yamaha’s Tour Custom series are made of maple and offer a warm, clear tone. All the shells in this set are 5.6mm thick and made up of six thin plies, which means they are the thinnest shells Yamaha have ever produced! The bearing edges are rounded at a 45-degree angle for optimal contact with the drum heads and the shells have a satin finish that’s available in the colours Caramel, Chocolate, Candy Apple, Licorice and Butterscotch.

Hardware
The rack toms in this set are suspended using Yamaha’s renowned YESS system, which ensures minimal contact with the shell for optimal resonance and a broader dynamic range. The TH945C Triple tom holder is included with this kit so you can mount two toms and still have room for a cymbal boom arm. For a good fundamental tone, a focused sound and tuning stability, this kit features 2.3mm Inverse Dyna Hoops and lugs from the Absolute series.
