While it’s more compact than the DTX10, the Yamaha DTX8K-M electric drum kit is loaded with the same high-quality samples which have been recorded in various renowned studios across Europe. The Kit Modifiers controls offer direct access to a number of effects that can be used to match the sound of the kit with your playing style. Also, the DTX8 and DTX10 kits are the first Yamaha e-kits equipped with mesh heads (made by Remo), the authentic shells are made of real wood. The days of keeping your electronic drum kit locked up in the attic are over – the DTX8K-M undeniably deserves pride of place on stage.

The DTX-Pro Module
The newly-designed DTX-Pro module is cut out for serious drum-students: the samples pack lots of expression and combine with the mesh head pads for what’s almost an acoustic feel. Yamaha have loaded various training functions into the module that firmly but fairly help you take your drumming skills to the next level. Also, you can connect the module up to your laptop, tablet or phone to record yourself or play along to your favourite music.
