Ashdown CTM-100 tube amp head for bass guitar

There’s something magical about a tube amp that makes guitar and bass players covet them like a child covets candy. As such, the Ashdown CTM-100 tube amplifier head is a product that many dedicated bass players have placed high on their wish lists. The CTM-100 is highly durable, so it’s great for night upon night of live performances. It also allows you plenty of ways to shape your sound, starting with the 3-band equalizer (bass, mid, treble). Push buttons (deep, shift, bright) above the main EQ control knobs give you even more control. This 100W amp head features effects send/return connectors, which is ideal if you want to insert an external effects device into the signal path. This feature can be set by engaging the bias mode of the dual-function VU meter on the front panel. Finally, each output tube is easy to replace, so you won’t need to call in a technician if you need a new one.
