In 1971, Ampeg issued the legendary V-4B, and bass players loved it. Decades later, Ampeg issues the V-4B bass guitar tube amplifier head; a re-imagining of the vintage head from 1971 with some essential modern features. This maintains all the tone of the original, which is great news for the true connoisseurs, but what makes this new model really stand out is that it is a lot lighter than the original and much easier to transport. Another notable feature is that the V-4B houses contemporary analogue components, making it much more reliable and easy to repair (should you ever need to).
