The Sphere L22 modelling microphone by Townsend Labs simulates the characteristics of some of the most legendary large-diaphragm microphones on the planet. You can choose between three pickup patterns and apply the one you want before or after you’ve recorded your track! It offers extremely accurate detail, including transient response, harmonic distortion, proximity effect, and 3-dimensional directional characteristics. What’s more, the L22 has dual capsules, which means you can record in stereo. You can even connect two mics up to the L22 at once! Naturally, the L22 can also be used as a traditional condenser mic without modelling. In short, this mic offers ultimate flexibility, quality, and options you never dreamt possible!
