This short-scale bass boasts the tight, snug feel of a 30.5-inch scale length for comfy playability while the Macassar ebony fretboard has been finished with the deluxe touch of crushed pearl position markers.

The 90th Anniversary 4005XC: Clear Sound
The entire body as well as the three-piece neck has been made from maple; a high-density wood that ensures maximum resonance, supreme sonic clarity, and refined note definition, even in the lower registers. Two vintage-voiced ‘Toaster’ pickups have been mounted to produce that warm, round, and unmistakable, Rickenbacker-grade amplified sound, and as a sweet bonus, this bass can be played in stereo as well as mono. This celebration of a legend comes complete with a Vintage Reissue Style case.
