The TLM 49 is a cardioid large-diaphragm microphone with a retro look that’s ideal for vocal recordings thanks to its warm timbre. It uses the legendary M49 and U47 capsules, and is fit for instrumental applications and quality home recordings.

Technical specs of the TLM 49
The capsule has a large, acoustically open grille and a boost of up to 3 dB for frequencies above 2 kHz. This studio microphone can operate at SPLs of up to 129 dB without distortion, and offers a dynamic range of 117 dB.

Its wide frequency response allows the microphone to pick up very low frequencies without distortion. Shocks, handling and wind noise are countered by the accessory EA 3 elastic suspension.
