Adam Sub15 15-inch Active Studio Subwoofer

The Adam Sub15 is a powerful active 15-inch subwoofer with a linear frequency response that starts at 20 Hz, meaning your won’t miss a single detail in the low end of your mix. This powerful sub is a great low-frequency addition to any near-field or midfield monitoring system and is optimised especially for use with Adam studio monitors. At a metre away, this sub produces 112 dB without any clipping, so blowing your audience away with an impressive final mix is a given.

Sub15: Impressive Performance
The 15-inch woofer is made with a remarkably stiff aluminium membrane and is driven by two powerful magnets and a 100mm voice coil. It’s equipped with a 1000-Watt (RMS) PWM amplifier that, due to the fact that it’s powered via multiple sources, won’t overheat and runs at an efficiency level of almost 90%, which means it can handle maximum output without risking any damage to the interior components.

Connectors
All the connection options you need are located on the rear of the Adam Sub15. As well as stereo XLR inputs and outputs, there are also stereo RCA inputs and outputs and an XLR Sub output for connecting a second subwoofer. This output also reacts to volume, which means you can then adjust the volume levels of multiple subs at once. The crossover frequency ranges from 50 to 150 Hz, and this sub is also fitted with an 85 Hz lo-cut filter for the line arrays (Dolby Standard).
