Hammond SK Pro 73 Stage Keyboard

Original price was: €2,500.Current price is: €1,790.

These days, organs are used by old-school bands and modern musicians alike, and we don’t mean grandma’s old electronic organ but those hefty, tonewheel-packed units that are often set up alongside huge Leslie cabs. If you want that over-the-top tonewheel sound without having to drag a full-size B-3 to the stage, your best bet is definitely the Hammond SK Pro 73. This stage keyboard comes in at 11kg and is a lot easier to get from A to B than the B-3, which weighs nearly 200kg. Not only that, the SK Pro features everything professional musicians demand, including tonewheel simulation, sample sections for keyboard instruments and ensembles (strings, pads, etc), and even a humble virtual analogue mono-synth for ripping prog-leads.

The Hammond SK Pro 73: The Complete Key-Player’s Instrument
The Hammond SK Pro 73 also comes loaded with plenty of effects, including tube simulation and a virtual Leslie speaker. Designed for smooth on-stage use, the instrument features nine drawbars for sculpting sound, as well as an intuitive control panel made up of encoders, sliders and buttons. Next to the virtual Leslie effect, a real Leslie speaker can be plugged in using the 11-pin output, and you’re also free to expand the SK Pro 73’s potential by hooking up a Hammond-made pedal unit or swell pedal.
