This is the third version of the STAR Reserve model, which is as unique as its two predecessors. The shell is made of 6 layers of bubinga and walnut and has an extra walnut outer layer with a dark high-gloss Claro Walnut finish. On the inside, there’s an extra Sound Focus Ring made of maple. All together, these materials ensure a tight, dry sound, and excellent control without the need for gels or other dampening materials.

STAR shell hardware
A special shell deserves special hardware. This STAR model has custom STAR bearing edges and comes complete with a Remo drum head, which is held in place by a Sound Arc hoop and 10 stylish STAR lugs. This system ensures precise, stable tension and the Snappy snare wire with 20 snares can be engaged or disengaged smoothly by means of the Liner-Drive strainer.
