The Revv Generator 100R MK3 is an outstandingly complete, high-quality tube amplifier designed for stage, studio and home use. The ‘R’ in the model name refers to the Red Channel, which has been completely redesigned and, unlike the hunter’s knife that is Purple Channel of the Generator 100P, is more like a blacksmith’s hammer and offers the kind of fat distortion demanded of styles like rock and metal. In addition to the Red Channel, the awesomely versatile Generator 100R MK3 offers the clean ‘Blue Channel’ that comes with a wide switch and the beautifully crunchy ‘Green Channel’.

The Generator 100R MKIII: Plenty of Options
Next to three colourful channels, Revv have equipped the Generator 100R MK3 with Two Notes Audio Engineering Torpedo DynIR Virtual Cabinet technology. That’s a bit of a mouthful, but it’s the tech that’s needed for hooking up the amp to a PA system, audio interface or a pair of headphones without the need for an external speaker cab. In addition to a digital reverb effect for a little extra tonal depth, the amp has also been outfitted with an attenuator so you can dial the power output down to 10W, while for extra tight tone, there’s the ever-useful built-in noise gate. Last but not least, the Revv Generator 100R MKIII comes complete with a footswitch and has been carefully put together by hand in Canada. Two Notes also generously include a free copy of the Tone Vault DynIR collection including twelve different speaker cabinet impulse responses.
