The Godin Multiac Grand Concert is a unique guitar. It is a nylon-stringed, classical guitar that can be amplified. The amplified sound is natural and sounds just like an acoustic guitar. The sound can be fine-tuned using the built-in 3-band equalizer. What really sets the Multiac apart from other electro-acoustic guitars, though, is the Synth Access output. This is a hexaphonic pickup that captures the sounds from each string and converts them into a MIDI signal. This makes it possible to control guitar synthesizers, like the Roland GR-55GK, directly from your guitar. Normally, you would need a special pickup mounted on your guitar to do such things, but with the Godin Multiac that’s not necessary as it already has one built-in.
