VOX Bobcat V90 Bigsby Jet Black Semi-Acoustic Guitar

Pulling vintage features into the present, the Vox Bobcat Series hollow-body guitars come equipped with a superb set of pickups and timeless playability. The very special V90B also comes finished with the same Bigsby vibrato tailpiece that was first developed in the forties and has since been inseparable from semi-acoustic guitars of this kind. This feature imbues this Vox model with authentic style and that distinct and clear, powerful sound that you can only get with a genuine Bigsby. This is tastefully coupled up with a pair of soap-bar style single-coil pickups to give this guitar a bright and superior amplified tone that can be taken through a broad sonic spectrum to suit pretty much any playing style, from jazz, to fusion, to rock, and more.

Upgraded Playability & Control
To firm up and enhance the playability, the semi-acoustic Bobcat has a ‘set-neck’ build, where the neck has been seamlessly fused with the body: a proven method used to construct many renowned single-cut guitars to not only guaranteed stability, but eased access higher up the fretboard. The Tune-O-Matic bridge has been fixed to ensure consistent intonation and smoother playability, while the body has been finished with a centred internal block so that, while the weight is kept to a light and manageable level, the sound is far more resistant to feedback, even at full volume. To polish it off, the V90 has been fitted with a full set of Grover machine heads that provide stable tuning and enhanced vibrational transfer.
