With the HEAL1465 Hybrid Exotic Cast Aluminium, Pearl delivers a 14 x 6.5-inch snare drum with an aluminium shell. That shell is 3 mm thick and produces a sound that resembles that of a wooden shell. but the aluminium keeps it lightweight and durable. The thin shell creates a very sensitive response. so you can play this snare drum very loudly or very gently.

Engaging or disengaging the snare wires is particularly easy with the SR-1000 snare strainer. The hardware on the shell has a chrome finish while the drum itself has a matte deep-black finish. SuperHoop II hoops and the special Spin-Tight tension rods create just the right tension on the head. This Hybrid snare drum makes sure you are always prepared.
