Neumann U 67 Set tube condenser microphone

Original price was: €5,700.Current price is: €4,150.

Neumann’s U 67 is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone with unparalleled sound quality. The K 67 sound capsule has become synonymous with the Neumann sound which can be characterised by its full bass, well-defined mids and silky trebles. That’s why there are very few situations in which the U 67 doesn’t excel and why it’s so popular among vocalists. The switchable low-cut filter means that this mic can be used for recording at short distances and the switchable pad means it can handle high volume levels too. The mic also has three polar patterns to choose from and comes complete with a power supply unit, a shock mount and a case.

History of the U 67
The U 67 was first introduced in 1960 and played an important role in the development of modern music. It was instrumental in modern recording techniques like close miking thanks to its switchable low-cut filter. The U 67 was also the first mic to feature the K 67 capsule that was so successful that it was also used in the U 67’s successor, the U 87 A.
