The ’68 Custom Twin Reverb is a 2×12 tube guitar amplifier combo by Fender. As its name implies, it was based on the one from 1968. Its components and circuits were carefully picked and several stages in its fabrication are done by hand. This tube combo has an exceptionally authentic sound and look. The feel of the classic Silverface amplifiers of the sixties can be found in the details, like the aluminium grille profile, the silver/turquoise panel and the controls.

Fender ’68 Custom Twin Reverb: 85 Watts
Technically, this combo has a lot to offer: four 6L6 power amp tubes deliver 85 watts of power. The preamp arrangement consists of four 12AX7 and two 12AT7 tubes. The built-in reverb and vibrato are both tube-driven, for a warm vintage sound. Its two 12-inch Celestion G12V-70 speakers can handle a massive dose of rock ‘n’ roll but offer a wide tonal range with regard to your instrument, playing style and preferences. The two channels, Custom and Vintage, offer two very distinct tonal characters, drenched in proper Fender tube-combo charm.
