In terms of sounds and playability, Nord Electro’s 6 HP stage keyboard has gone up a notch compared to its predecessor. The Electro series keyboards are all about accurately emulating electro mechanical and acoustic instruments. The 73-note 6 HP features a Fatar keybed with weighted hammer action keys. It also has digital LED drawbars that give you an excellent overview of the current settings.

New Features
Seamless Transitions make it possible to switch between the piano, sample synth and organ sections flawlessly while you’re playing and you can use the split and layer functions to use more than one sound at a time or combine them together. The new interface makes it easy to control the 6 HP’s features and the handy Organize mode allows you to quickly arrange programs in any order you desire. The piano section’s voice polyphony has been extended and there are more filters too. The sample synth section also has an extended voice polyphony and more memory and the organ section has two additional pipe organ sounds and a Dual Organ mode.

The Electro: Stage-Ready
For those not yet familiar with Nord’s Electro series keyboards: they roughly consist of three separate sections being piano, synth and organ. This division is reflected in this stage piano’s control panel and because this concerns true stage instruments, each separate section has been designed in such a way a keyboardist can easily and instantly switch to their preferred sound during a performance. Speaking of which, keyboards in the Electro series are built to perform and each top-quality sound can be quickly and easily adjusted according to your preferences. It’s even possible to replace certain sounds via the USB connector and your computer. Various audio, MIDI and pedal inputs and outputs give the 6 HP even more possibilities.
