Most pianists will naturally want to play an instrument with a level of excellence usually only found in acoustic models. Generally, skills are honed more efficiently when using an acoustic piano and those small mechanical details made by genuine hammers and pedals shape a specific character that’s sometimes only noticed when they are missing – as when playing a digital piano that’s considered to have a good sound. To create as natural a sound and playing experience as possible, the Celviano Grand Hybrid has been made in collaboration with world renowned piano builder, C. Bechstein and manages to bring together tradition and innovation to create something truly astounding.

The GP-150: Natural Grand Hammer Action Keys
If anyone has intimate knowledge of how a keyboard actually functions and how it ought to feel, it’s C. Bechstein. As such, the Casio GP-510 digital piano comes fitted with Natural Grand Hammer Action keys that are identical to those found on any familiar Bechstein model. The white keys have an acrylic finish and the black keys have been coated in phenol while real, physical hammers are actually triggered by the weighted keys for a truly authentic playing feel. Every expressive detail is transferred to the sound and the mechanical effect of every movement across the keyboard; every depression of the pedals can actually be heard.

Authentic Sound
The Casio GP-510 comes with 35 built-in sounds, three of which owe their voice to renowned grand pianos from Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna; each carefully studied and meticulously emulated. The Berlin grand offers rich balance; the Hamburg grand offers complex colour and brightness while the Viennese grand has incredible warmth and depth. Since the audio reproduction is just as vital as the samples used, this piano comes fitted with a room-filling three-way system with six speakers for a powerful sound supported by 2x 20 Watt and 2 x 30 Watt amplification. Two headphone outputs, a MIDI port and the ability to record and playback are also provided.
