Boss Waza Amp Cabinet 212

Boss carefully developed the Cabinet 212 to form a perfect team with the Boss Waza Craft amp head. The starting point was the reproduction of the legendary ‘Brown Sound’ from the ’70s and ’80s. Boss was able to achieve this by injecting their knowledge and expertise of the rich history of music amplification into the development of these amps. The first challenge was emulating the sound of the original stack amplifier, so they came up with their own interpretation and named it the ‘Waza Brown Sound’.

Generally speaking, the speaker used for the very first stack amps was considered the Holy Grail among cabinets. That’s why Boss worked hard to achieve a sound that resembled the original as closely as possible by testing countless combinations of amps and speakers. The original had a power capacity of merely 20 watts, which was simply not enough for the Boss engineers. Eventually, their years of expertise led to the creation of a speaker cabinet that possessed the same raw characteristics as the original, but with an impressive 80 watts of juice, allowing its companion the Waza Craft Amp head to perform at its maximum potential.
