This GP607 digital grand piano by Roland is a real eye-catcher. Although it’s reminiscent of the tried-and-trusted acoustic grand pianos of yesteryear in look and sound, Roland have added some modern technology to bring it right up into the 21st century!

One of the things the GP607 has is Bluetooth, which you’d hardly expect a traditional-looking grand piano to have. It allows you to pair your smartphone or tablet and play music wirelessly over the powerful built-in 4.1 speaker system. The result is a rich, clear sound that can fill a room. This digital grand has another benefit as opposed to its acoustic piano counterpart, which is the addition of a volume control. That means you can practice whenever inspiration hits, even in the middle of the night, without disturbing those around you.

Authentic sound and feel
It’s very tricky to translate acoustic instruments into digital instruments, as there are many factors that need to be taken into consideration. A pianos has many separate elements that contribute to its sound such as strings, a body, the keys, beaters, pedals, and so on. For this reason, Roland has developed SuperNATURAL Piano Modelling technology in an effort to recreate these elements as accurately as possible. The result is a sound that is hardly distinguishable from an acoustic grand! Thanks to the PHA-50 keyboard, it also feels like the real thing.
