Studio setups often feature a mere two speakers, which have to reproduce all the tones of a record. This isn’t an efficient way of working. Cue Neumann’s solution: this 7.1 subwoofer! It doesn’t just take care of the bass frequencies, it also provides a speaker management system, which allows you to use up to seven speakers simultaneously. One of the many advantages of such a system is that lateral room effects can be accommodated for.

Neumann KH810G: Specially designed for the studio
The Neumann KH810G is a subwoofer that’s specifically designed for use in the studio. This can clearly be seen in things like its finish, balanced XLR connectors and magnetic shielding. Interference from computer screens and mobile phones is history! The 10-inch woofer ensures high-quality bass reproduction, and compression is avoided by the two bass reflex ports. Ground lift inputs and a housing with an extremely low resonant frequency keep unwanted resonance at bay!

7.1 subwoofer: Fully adjustable
This 7.1 subwoofer by Neumann can be used as a subwoofer (it has a 10-inch woofer and 160W RMS amp), but it can also be adjusted and used as a management system. For extensive acoustic control the unit is equipped with a low-cut filter, parametric equalizer, etc. Moreover, an independent switchable surround/back channel bass management system is built in, giving perfect control over the audio.
