Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol S88 Mk2 is a USB/MIDI keyboard with a Pro-grade Fatar keybed and aftertouch for an authentic piano-playing experience. It’s packed with 8 encoders and has responsive colour LEDs for Kontakt and as such, is sure to become the beating heart of your studio.

Features of the NI Komplete Kontrol S88 MK2
As you’d expect from a keyboard in this price class, the S88 Mk2 has USB MIDI, DIN MIDI and pedal inputs on board. The touch strips for pitch and modulation found on the original S88 have been replaced by wheels on the Mk2, although a welcome touch strip is still included. Thanks to the new NKS protocol, the S88’s plugin integration is nothing short of outstanding, as is its profoundly comfortable integration with Maschine. A double colour display and a special control that’s essentially a combination of a rotary knob and cursor button are other features that, in the very least, deserve a mention.
