A classic snare with a modern twist: the Ludwig Super Chrome over Brass! Ludwig’s Super Series was first released in the ’60s and turned out to be a big hit among drummers. The ever-successful series is still seen as classic and timeless, so Ludwig figured it was time for a modern reissue for the modern drummer, resulting in this 14×5″ snare drum.

This Ludwig Super Chrome over Brass snare features a seamless, brass shell that’s been blessed with nickel-plated hardware, a P88 snare strainer and a P35 butt-end. “Chrome over Brass” refers to the chrome-plated shell, which doesn’t just look amazing but ensures a sound that nears that of a Supraphonic. Also, the badge has been inspired by the wildly popular and coveted Transition Badge from the ’60s.
