If you’re a fan of Meshuggah then you’ll surely appreciate the custom-made 8-string Stoneman Fredrik Thordendal FTM33 Weathered Black signature guitar by Ibanez. It’s a solid-body ERG guitar based on the legendary Iceman with a 7-piece maple and walnut neck and two ash body wings. The combination of wood types is further perfected by a rosewood fretboard and 22 jumbo frets. The acoustic base sound is warm and full with tight low and defined high frequencies, a light scoop in the mids and a creamy touch to the overall sound.

FTM33: extreme and tight at 27 inches
Two Model M8P humbuckers by the Swedish brand Lundgren deliver the unmistakable amplified sound of this guitar, which is known for its power and clarity even in extreme low tunings. The long 27-inch scale length ensures a stable, tight feel, even in tunings like F, Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb and Eb; in particular, the low F and Bb strings. As well as a neck-through construction, the fixed FX Edge III-8 bridge and locking nut ensure great tuning stability. This matte-black Ibanez with black hardware comes complete with a matching soft case.
