Dream Theatre guitarist, John Petrucci has added the all important magic touches to his astonishing Signature Model Sterling by Music Man Majesty MAJ270XQM. The ebony fretboard and 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets are just the start. This power-up of an already stunning instrument has also been mounted with the same set of DiMarzio LiquiFire/Crunch Lab pickups often used by Petrucci himself. The result is a surprisingly inexpensive 7-string electric guitar with priceless sound. As such, a deluxe gig bag comes included.

The MAJ270XQM: Stylish Functionality
The Sterling by Music Man MAJ270XQM has a nyatoh body finished with a luxurious quilted maple top, the grain of which is clearly visible through the subtle burst of the lacquer coating. A matching 3-piece nyatoh neck has then been set in to keep each fret within easy reach, and a two-point tremolo bridge and set of locking tuners have been fitted to ensure the level of tuning stability demanded by contemporary guitarists. To add that all important edge, the electronics section also provides a 12dB volume boost controlled by a push/pull pot.
