The Heritage Guitars Standard Collection H-535 is a true American icon in its own right. Built in Gibson’s famous former factory in Kalamazoo, the H-535 is a semi-acoustic model made using only the best possible wood so that players are offered a magnificently transparent acoustic foundation sound. The maple pieces have been carved out beautifully, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with the subtleness of the set-in mahogany neck. The 22 medium jumbo frets on the rosewood fretboard are genuine Jescars, so you can rest assured that the playing feel is fully up to snuff.

The Standard H-535: PAF-Style Tone Without The Feedback
To keep any feedback out of the amplified sound of this Standard Collection model, the craftspeople over at The Heritage have fitted a solid centre-block and two ’59 humbuckers from Seymour Duncan, both of which were treated with wax before they were mounted to help with countering feedback. Next to a 3-way switch from Switchcraft and a Pure Tone jack, CTS 500K pots and Vishay .022uF condensers are also part of the build and only help to shape a lightly sugar-coated, open PAF-style tone fit for styles like blues and classic rock. Finally, the fact that the H-535 comes with a locking stopbar and bridge as well as Grover tuners shouldn’t be overlooked, and did we mention this sublime thin-line hollow-body comes complete with its own TKL guitar case?
